I have played millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have gambled on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of bankroll at 21. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is built on the fact that vingt-et-un appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very fun on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a few years back with $750 after 45 mins using this technique! And a couple of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You must comprehend that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 game.

Take $80 paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar wager
Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the first 1 hundred and 60 dollar bet
If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!
It’s difficult to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
